Sharing forms with clients has followed much of the same process for years: download the form, send it to the client, check the information, edit the data, and repeat until the form is ready for court. Not only is this time-consuming, but it also relies heavily on manual input. And as much as we all strive for accuracy, manual processes inevitably increase the risk of errors. We are only human, after all. We recognised this challenge and knew there had to be a more streamlined way of collaborating on family forms, which is why we developed Quantum Collaborate.
Quantum Collaborate allows you to send forms directly to your clients through Quantum Cloud, reducing the need to switch between multiple applications. You can share individual forms for completion or send a blank case for clients to populate with their key details, allowing them to take an active role in progressing their matter. This reduces the amount of information that needs to be gathered and entered manually, helping to save time and money for firms and clients alike.
The solicitor remains in full control throughout the process. Using a simple side-by-side comparison, every addition and amendment made by the client can be reviewed before being accepted into the master case, giving you complete confidence in the information being carried forward.
Preparing a Form E often involves significant back-and-forth communication to gather supporting documents, from bank statements and property valuations to P60s and other financial records. With Quantum Collaborate, clients can upload these documents directly to their case, making them easily accessible when completing the relevant sections of the form. Supporting documents can then be compiled into the Form E, allowing everything to be printed or downloaded as a single document.
As a case progresses, only certain sections of a form may require further input. Sending the entire form back and forth can create unnecessary opportunities for information to be changed. Form customisation allows you to lock specific questions and sections, while also giving you the option to add tailored guidance notes to help clients provide the information you need.
Quantum Collaborate can also be used to share forms with counsel, including barristers and financial advisors. While a client and a legal professional may review the same Form E, the information and terminology they need are often very different. Depending on the type of collaborator you select, Quantum Collaborate adapts its wording accordingly. Clients are provided with clear, user-friendly language to help them understand what is being asked of them, while legal professionals see the terminology they expect and work with every day.
